Third
The third floor of our house has an interesting history. As with most manors built at the time, the third floor of our house originally served to entertain guests with its giant ballroom and other accomodations. When our chapter bought the house, the giant ballroom was used to house fellow brothers-- barracks style-- for a fraternity conference. Shortly thereafter, walls were constructed and the ballroom was divided into three rooms, the Cave, Whiskey's Roost, and, the Ballroom.
Gregory Szorc, with the help of many brothers, notably Chris Cancian, has dedicated himself to renovating the third floor since 2005. This included rewiring all the rooms to code and having a professional electrician install a new breaker box. He also replaced much of the drywall and installed new fixtures.
