House
The Phi Kappa Theta house is located at 11016 Magnolia Dr, slightly off-campus to the west of the North Residential Village. Measuring in at roughly 10,000 sq. ft., our house features 22 separate bed rooms, a commerical-grade kitchen, 5 showers, and 2 half-bathrooms.
Case provides us with gigabit ethernet and wireless internet. We also have washing machines, air conditioning, all inclusive digital cable, and a public computer terminal. For relaxation, the basement contains both a TV room (with stadium seeting and surround sound) and a game room, with full-sized billiards, foosball, and ping-pong tables as well as an arcade machine. There is also a full-size volleyball court in the back yard, complete with night lighting. Completing the property is a 2000 sq ft. carriage house, which is leased.
Our house was constructed as a private residence between 1917 and 1918. It was bought by the local chapter in 1955 and we have lived in it since.
The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta take great pride in our house. We are one of the few Greek organizations at Case who own both our land and property (most lease from the university). This autonomy brings great responsiblity, as we are the primary caretakers of the structures and land. In-house residents all share the responsibility of keeping the house clean and sanitary. In addition, we are frequently engaged in at least one renovation project, whether it is painting a room, replacing carpet, refinishing wood floors, or even landscaping.
We welcome you to take a virtual tour through our house.
